Historical romance books ?

I am looking for some good funny historical romance novels.. I really enjoyed sabrina jeffries different series, julie garwood's the wedding is my favorite book, and hannah howells the highlanders bride was brillant! I would love to find more authors like these and possibly more highlander themed books.. I have read many more but most of them were just smutty.. Dont get me wrong i like more "adult" themed books but i want a good story not just a sexy scene.. If that makes any sense.. If anyone can please help that would be greatly awesome!! Thanks!
